Mexico City. Today, Friday, November 20, the dollar stands at $ 20.11 Mexican pesos trending down, according to investing.com. At the end of this day, the information from Banxico reveals that the spot interbank dollar ended at $ 20.06 pesos per unit (down almost 8 cents since this Thursday). On the other hand, the FIX dollar ended at $ 20.11 (down almost 7 cents).
During this week, the parity between the currency of the United States and the Mexican one touched a minimum of 20.0522 and a maximum of 20.4343 pesos per dollar unit. The peso achieved an appreciation of 1.71%, equivalent to 34.9 cents.
With this result, the Mexican currency spun its fifth day with profit and has been rising for three weeks, a period in which it has appreciated 5.28%, equivalent to 1.12 pesos.
Regarding other currencies, the peso was the second most appreciated. The first place went to the Norwegian crown, which achieved an advance of 1.82%; and in third place the Russian ruble, which appreciated by 1.54%. All three currencies belong to oil-producing countries.

Regarding the exchange rate in the different banks of Mexico, the price of the dollar reaches its highest level for sale at $ 21.50 in Banbajío, while the lowest for purchase is at $ 19.00 at Banorte and IXE, according to Dollar.info. Regarding the euro, this is priced at $ 23.84 pesos, for $ 26.69 pesos of the pound sterling overall average.

According to Investing.com, WTI oil is at $ 42.44 a barrel. Brent oil is at $ 45.11 per barrel, both with an upward trend in their orders for January 2021.
